Marketing Lead

Location: 100% Remote

Pay: 120k-150k

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Lead to drive growth for our B2B SaaS product. This role combines strategy and execution: you will own go-to-market planning, launch a new company website from scratch, implement marketing automation, and apply AI-powered productivity tools to scale demand generation and improve team efficiency. You will partner closely with product, sales, and engineering to build measurable acquisition and activation funnels, optimize conversion, and establish repeatable growth processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a full-funnel marketing strategy for a B2B SaaS product focused on user acquisition, activation, and retention.
  • Lead the end-to-end launch of a new marketing website from scratchdefine information architecture, messaging, content strategy, CMS setup, SEO, and analytics tracking.
  • Design and run demand generation campaigns across channels (content, email, SEO, paid search/display, social and partnerships) and optimize performance through A/B testing and CRO.
  • Implement and manage marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) to create scalable nurture paths, lead scoring, and handoff processes to sales.
  • Integrate and operationalize AI tools to improve team productivity (content generation, personalization, automated insights, workflow automation) while maintaining quality and brand voice.
  • Own marketing analytics: define KPIs, build dashboards, run cohort and LTV analyses, and translate data into action to improve CAC, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution.
  • Collaborate with product and sales to craft positioning, messaging, pricing experiments, and launch plans for new features and integrations.
  • Manage and grow a small marketing team and external agencies/contractors; set priorities, mentor direct reports, and ensure timely execution of projects.
  • Establish processes and documentation for campaign planning, creative production, marketing tech stack governance, and performance review.
  • Stay current with SaaS marketing trends, AI-driven marketing applications, and marketing automation best practices and recommend innovations.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of hands-on B2B SaaS marketing experience with demonstrable results in user acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Proven experience launching a website from scratch: content strategy, CMS implementation, SEO, analytics setup, and CRO.
  • Strong expertise with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot or similar) and building lead nurture/lead scoring frameworks.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to boost marketing productivitycontent generation, personalization, workflow automation, or analytics automation.
  • Solid experience with paid acquisition channels, SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and conversion optimization.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools (Google Analytics/GA4, Looker/BigQuery, Mixpanel) and creating dashboards and reports to drive decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to translate product features into customer-focused messaging.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and engineering in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus.
