Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer 

Location: Beverly, MA

Salary: $90k-$115k DOE

Requirements: BSME or related degree, 5 years exp in Manufacturing, CNC Machining, CAD/CAM, ERP/MRP

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support the production of high-precision CNC-machined components. This role plays a key part in improving manufacturing processes, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring product quality. You will work closely with engineering, quality, and shop-floor teams to bring designs into production and continuously improve manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review product designs for manufacturability, tolerances, quality requirements, and cost drivers
• Define manufacturing processes for CNC-machined components and assemblies
• Specify and support fixtures, tooling, and gaging requirements
• Create and maintain manufacturing routings and bills of material in ERP/MRP systems
• Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and update manufacturing documentation
• Collaborate with engineers, quality, supervisors, and machine operators to improve productivity and quality
• Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions related to quality or process issues

Required Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience supporting CNC machining operations
• Strong understanding of machining principles, workholding, and shop-floor practices
• Experience with CAD/solid modeling (SolidWorks preferred)
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, tolerances, and dimensioning standards
• Experience working with ERP or MRP systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
