Position Overview

The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance department, ensuring the efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role is critical in implementing maintenance strategies that promote a lean manufacturing environment and drive continuous improvement through methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma, particularly in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
• Lead and manage the maintenance team, ensuring effective training and development of staff.
• Monitor and analyze equipment performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure production schedules are met.
• Collaborate with other departments to support continuous improvement initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.
• Manage the maintenance budget, optimizing costs while ensuring high-quality maintenance services.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions for maintenance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
