A highly regarded Boston based law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join its growing litigation practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who wants meaningful courtroom exposure, direct client interaction, and the chance to run cases rather than just support them.
THE ROLE
You will be actively involved in sophisticated matters spanning multiple industries, with responsibility that includes:
- Managing cases from inception through resolution
- Drafting dispositive motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Taking and defending depositions
- Participating in hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
- Working closely with partners and clients on litigation strategy
The practice handles complex commercial and civil litigation, including business disputes, professional liability, employment matters, construction disputes, and real estate litigation.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- 5 or more years of litigation experience
- Proven ability to manage cases with increasing independence
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience in state and or federal courts
- Collaborative mindset with the confidence to work autonomously
