An established firm based in Chicago, Illinois with over 75 years in practice is seeking an IP Litigation Associate with 3 years of experience to join their team in a hybrid work arrangement. This role involves sophisticated intellectual property litigation matters including patent infringement, trade secret disputes, and complex technology-related litigation, representing clients in federal courts and before administrative agencies while collaborating closely with senior attorneys and clients. Offer:
Salary range: $180,000-$230,000 contingent on experience

3 years of experience handling intellectual property litigation matters
Active admission to the Illinois Bar or eligibility for admission
Experience with patent infringement, trade secret, or technology-driven disputes
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong academic credentials and prior law firm experience Responsibilities:
Handling all phases of intellectual property litigation from pleadings through discovery and trial preparation
Drafting and responding to substantive motions, pleadings, and discovery requests
Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda on complex IP issues
Collaborating with partners and senior associates on litigation strategy
Participating in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings
Communicating effectively with clients regarding case developments
