We are a  respected and growing Orange County law firm with a strong litigation heritage is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its expanding practice. Attorneys are trusted with meaningful responsibility, direct client contact, and structured business development coaching designed to support long term professional success.

The Role

The successful candidate will handle a wide range of insurance coverage matters and play a key role in advising insurer clients on complex issues.

 Responsibilities include: 

-analyzing and interpreting insurance policies including primary, excess, and specialty lines, preparing coverage opinions and strategic legal advice, and managing all aspects of insurance coverage litigation from pleadings through trial preparation.

-The position also involves representing clients in state and federal courts as well as arbitration and mediation proceedings, conducting legal research, and drafting persuasive memoranda, briefs, and other substantive legal documents. Strong communication with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members is essential.

Qualifications

-Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and be actively licensed to practice law in California. 

-4-8 years of experience, ideally up to eight years or greater, in insurance coverage and or insurance defense litigation. Strong analytical abilities, excellent writing skills, and sound legal reasoning are required.

-Experience with commercial general liability, professional liability, and property coverage issues is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple sophisticated matters in a fast paced environment and thrives in a collaborative and high quality practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The firm offers a competitive salary range from $165K - $205K depending on experience, along with bonus programs, training opportunities, and comprehensive employment benefits. Superior academic performance and demonstrated writing excellence are highly valued.
