Position Overview
The Structural Engineer Project Manager will oversee engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet safety standards, regulations, and client specifications. The role combines technical engineering expertise with project management skills to ensure effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from initial design through to completion.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and progress.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules to meet client deadlines and specifications.
- Conduct structural analysis and design using applicable codes and standards.
- Review and approve design documents and ensure compliance with engineering principles and practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Prepare and present project updates to clients and management.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with software such as Revit, AutoCAD, RISA, and ETABS.
- Knowledge of building codes and standards including IBC and ACI 318.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
