The Fire Protection Designer will be responsible for developing and designing fire protection systems for various building projects. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop fire protection systems including fire sprinklers, alarms, and suppression systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD, HydraCAD, and AutoSPRINK software for drafting and designing fire protection layouts.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate fire protection systems into building designs.
- Conduct hydraulic calculations and design analysis to ensure system effectiveness.
- Prepare and submit design documents for review and approval by authorities having jurisdiction.
- Stay updated on local fire codes and regulations to ensure compliance in all designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fire protection system design and engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, HydraCAD, AutoSPRINK, and Revit software.
- Knowledge of fire protection codes, standards, and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
