Field Engineer
Position Overview
The Field Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects in the field. This role involves working closely with the project team to address technical challenges, provide solutions, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site assessments and evaluations to ensure project specifications are met.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop project plans and schedules.
- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams on-site.
- Review and approve design changes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and progress updates.
- Manage and resolve issues related to RFIs (Requests for Information) and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
- Assist in system turnover procedures and ensure all deliverables are completed for project handover.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Field Engineer in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with SmartPlant Review and AutoCAD is a plus.
- Experience with RFI, NCR, FWO, and reporting procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
