Facilities & Engineering Manager

Position Overview
We're seeking a Facilities & Engineering Manager to join our team! We're an Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturer that has strong employee tenure and has seen over 15% growth in employee headcount over the last 2 years! The right candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and engineering operations within the organization. This role focuses on ensuring optimal performance of production equipment, managing facility budgets, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and engineering operations to ensure optimal performance of production equipment.
• Develop and manage budgets for the facilities and engineering departments.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Manage Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO systems and safety procedures within the facility.
• Lead capital improvement projects to upgrade facilities and equipment.
• Develop and review panel layouts, wiring schematics, and bill of materials for engineering projects.
• Oversee PLC and HMI programming for automation hardware to ensure effective process controls.
• Maintain software backups and ensure data integrity for engineering applications.
• Coordinate the use of industrial instrumentation and implement process control theory to optimize manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in facilities management and engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, production equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management for engineering projects.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and practices.
• Proficient in CMMS software and ISO systems.
• Experience with PLC and HMI programming, along with a solid understanding of automation hardware.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases and ability to manage industrial instrumentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and improve processes.
