Estimator - Heavy Civil

Position Overview
We are seeking a Civil Estimator with 5 years of heavy civil experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects
• Conduct takeoffs from project plans and specifications
• Utilize estimating software such as HCSS to generate accurate estimates
• Analyze geotechnical reports and assess resource availability
• Develop project schedules and proposals in collaboration with project managers
• Stay informed about industry trends and winter conditions that may impact project costs
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing
• Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors to ensure competitiveness

Required Qualifications

• 5 years civil estimating experience
• HCSS HeavyBid experience
• Agtek/Procore (or similar)
• Ability to perform a quantity takeoff

Preferred Qualifications

• 3D-modeling experience a plus
• Familiarity working in winter conditions a plus
• Strong safety background
• Utility experience
