Electrical Estimator - Sacramento, CA - $85,000 to $135,000 (depending on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with electrical projects, ensuring that all financial aspects align with project specifications and budgetary constraints. This role is critical in supporting our operations in various sectors, including wastewater management, renewable energy, and industrial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed electrical cost estimates for various projects including wastewater, industrial, and renewable energy sectors.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required materials.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to develop comprehensive project budgets.
• Evaluate and select subcontractors and suppliers, and obtain competitive bids for electrical work.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary information for estimating.
• Maintain a database of historical costs and benchmarks to improve future estimates.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations for potential clients.
• Implement quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes to ensure accuracy in estimates.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating within the construction or manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with estimating software and tools.
• Knowledge of control systems, power distribution, and electrical design principles.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
