Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the bidding process by providing accurate estimates for electrical projects across various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, education, and more. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to analyze project specifications and drawings to deliver precise cost assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for various construction projects.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope of work to prepare estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for bids.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data for accurate estimations.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and pricing to ensure competitiveness and accuracy in estimates.
• Maintain and update cost databases and estimating tools to reflect current market conditions.
• Participate in project kickoff meetings and assist in the transition from estimating to project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial, healthcare, and educational projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certification as a Certified Estimator (CCE) or similar is a plus.
