Corporate Tax Senior Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Senior Manager to lead our tax compliance and planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in federal and state tax regulations, as well as international tax matters. This role involves managing client relationships, providing strategic tax advice, and ensuring compliance with IRS regulations while minimizing tax liabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns and related compliance filings.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
• Conduct tax research and analysis on various tax issues, including state, federal, and international tax matters.
• Manage audit defense processes and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
• Oversee transfer pricing documentation and compliance to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and foster their professional development.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.
• CPA certification or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate tax, with a focus on compliance and planning.
• Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and state tax laws.
• Experience with international tax issues and transfer pricing is highly desirable.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client relationships.
