Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer/Automation Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, and troubleshooting control systems and automation processes in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on improving efficiency, safety, and productivity through innovative automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement control systems for manufacturing processes
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs and other automation devices
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics and documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities
• Test and validate control systems to ensure optimal performance
• Provide technical support and training for operators and maintenance personnel
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in automation technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in controls engineering and automation programming
• Strong programming skills (multiple languages) with experience in PLCs and ladder logic
• Familiarity with automation hardware and software including Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc etc
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and R&D troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• AutoCAD experience
• TUV Cert huge plus
• Vision systems is a huge plus
