Construction Manager
Position Overview
The Construction Manager will oversee and coordinate new home build construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves managing teams, liaising with stakeholders, and adhering to safety regulations to deliver successful building projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Develop project timelines and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to schedules and financial constraints.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and clients.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained prior to the commencement of work.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in the new home build construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
