Position Overview

The Roofing Superintendent will oversee and manage all roofing projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating with subcontractors, managing materials, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Our most common projects are apartments & Condo's with HOA's, Retail Plazas, and some industrial warehouses, storage facilities, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow
• Manage and order materials required for roofing projects
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours
• Train and mentor roofing crew members on best practices and safety protocols
• Ensure compliance with all local and national building codes and regulations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofing Superintendent or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems including TPO, Single-Ply, modified, and metal roofing
• Familiarity with commercial roofing projects and steep slope roofing
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in roofing
