We are seeking an experienced Project Manager in Salt Lake City to lead multiple concurrent projects (ranging from $1M-$12M). We aren't looking for a paper-pusher; we're looking for a leader who values planning discipline, proactive problem-solving, and professional development.
Position Responsibilities
- Drive Predictable Execution: Establish project objectives and performance standards that prioritize proactive planning over reactive fire-fighting.
- Lead with Discipline: Direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors through structured pre-planning and milestone tracking to prevent delays before they happen.
- Build Relationships: Act as the primary liaison with clients and consultants, fostering a culture of alignment, trust, and transparency.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage all financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests while maintaining high-integrity relationships with partners.
- Collaborative Oversight: Work hand-in-hand with on-site Superintendents to ensure projects are built safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Mentorship: Identify and develop the next generation of construction talent within your project teams.
Position Qualifications
- The "Builder" Mindset: A strong desire to build people and processes, not just structures.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency with Procore and CPM scheduling software (MS Project or Suretrak) is required.
- Educational Background: A degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience working for a commercial General Contractor.
- Communication Skills: Excellence in reading contract documents and translating them into actionable, disciplined field plans.
- Travel: Based in our SLC office, with occasional overnight travel as required to support our regional growth.
