An established (30 years) global grinding technology firm is seeking a CNC Programmer to support its high-precision manufacturing and customer demonstration operations. The position is based at its North American headquarters in Miamisburg, Ohio. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for developing, editing, and optimizing CNC programs for a wide range of grinding machines used across aerospace, automotive, medical, and tooling industries.
Qualifications
Minimum 1-3 years of CNC experience
Proficiency in G-code and CNC controls (Fanuc and/or Siemens preferred)
Experience with surface, cylindrical, or profile grinding
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam or similar
Requirements
Ability to develop and edit programs for complex grinding operations
Willingness to perform setup and troubleshooting as needed on the shop floor
Strong mechanical aptitude and process optimization mindset
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience supporting both production and prototype environments is a plus
Willingness to travel 50-75%
