Civil Superintendent - Highway and Bridge construction

Yesterday, a C-level exec at this company told me that they're looking for a super who's the right fit, and I think you'll agree their compensation package is one of the best in the Hudson Valley area:

• 100% healthcare for you and your family
• $90,000-$140,000 salary (depends on experience)
• 10% MINIMUM contribution to your retirement via a contribution pension plan

Plus, there are end of year bonuses based on both company and individual performance.  (I forgot to ask how often these get paid out historically, will work on getting that answered)

This company's glassdoor reviews look good, they've been around 40 years, and the exec said they have a solid backlog of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities on-site for highway and bridge projects
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards
• Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion
• Provide leadership and direction to construction teams
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment
• Conduct regular site inspections to address any issues or compliance concerns
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and project management
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Prepare progress reports and documentation for management review
• Implement best practices in construction methods and project management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of super experience
• DOT or Bridge experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Experience with Structural steel, structural concrete, earthwork, and excavation
