Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases in court and through alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations in relation to their cases.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
- Prepare for and attend trials, presenting evidence and arguments effectively.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure comprehensive legal services for clients.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and active license to practice law.
- Proven experience in civil litigation, with a focus on areas such as insurance defense, personal injury, breach of contract, and employment law.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
