Business Analyst Payroll
Salary - $75000 - $100,000
Location: Downtown Chicago
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst Payroll to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing payroll processes, ensuring compliance, and optimizing payroll systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain reports to provide insights into payroll performance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding payroll
- Collaborate with HRIS and time and attendance systems to streamline payroll processes
- Assist in the implementation and upgrade of payroll systems
- Support stakeholders with payroll-related inquiries and issues
- Provide training and support to staff on payroll processes and systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of experience in payroll or business analysis
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools
- Experience with HRIS and time and attendance systems
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Strong understanding of financial reporting
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and work collaboratively
