Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable Building Envelope Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on designing and maintaining the integrity of building enclosures including facade systems, roofing techniques, and window installations ensuring optimal performance in public projects. This role will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance building aesthetics and functionality while adhering to applicable codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess building envelope systems including facades, roofing, and windows.
• Conduct inspections and perform quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) on building envelope installations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and compliance.
• Provide expert advice on waterproofing techniques and materials.
• Assist in the development and review of project specifications and details for building envelope systems.
• Utilize Revit and other software tools for modeling and documentation purposes.
• Stay updated on industry standards, trends, and advancements in building envelope technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in building envelope design and construction.
• Strong knowledge of facade systems, roofing techniques, and window installations.
• Familiarity with building envelope concepts such as curtain walls and waterproofing.
• Experience with Revit and other design software is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and support throughout project lifecycles.
