Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled BIM Manager to oversee the Building Information Modeling process within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing BIM workflows, ensuring effective collaboration among teams, and optimizing project delivery through advanced modeling techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement BIM strategies and standards to streamline project workflows.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of BIM into project delivery.
- Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts in design models to ensure constructability.
- Manage and mentor BIM team members in best practices for modeling and data management.
- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for creating detailed 3D models and architectural designs.
- Oversee the implementation of digital twin technology for enhanced project visualization and management.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations throughout the design and construction processes.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on BIM tools and collaboration platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10 Years of BIM Coordination Experience Required.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM software.
- Experience designing HVAC, Plumbing, Piping, and more mechanical systems.
- Strong background in architectural design and structural engineering principles.
- Experience with 3D modeling and construction management techniques.
- Familiarity with clash detection and coordination processes.
- Excellent data management skills and understanding of design visualization tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
