Responsibilities

Attend and participate in Coordination Meetings (both On-site and Virtual)

Attend On-site Co-location sessions as required by specific projects

Collaborate with other Team BIM/CAD Coordinators to share workload and best practice

Identify and prioritize Coordination Schedule and keep ahead of proposed deadlines

Collaborate with Project Management & Electrical field staff and incorporate direction for the purpose of Electrical Coordination.

3D Drafting and Design of ALL Electrical Equipment and Systems

Monitor 3D Model for Trade Clashes, resolve conflicts, and update electrical files

Review Contract Documents and Submittals associated with Coordinated items

Prepare Shop Drawings for Structural Modifications and any other change requests.

Identify potential Prefabrication items and Model & Detail for assembly.


Requirements

Electrical design experience including knowledge of procedures for production of design development and construction documents.

Experience with Electrical panel coordination, lighting and switchgear layouts.

Strong communication and customer service skills, and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Must be a positive, self-motivated individual who works well in a collaborative/team atmosphere

Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects at once in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment, without sacrificing quality or accuracy

Ability to take and absorb direction and work on your own.

Excellent organization and documentation skills, and strong attention to detail


Qualifications 
 

Minimum of 5yrs of experience and demonstrated proficiency designing projects with AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, Revit MEP, Bluebeam

Familiarity with Autodesk 360

Familiarity with Trimble Point Creator

Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Familiarity with applicable building codes and safety laws

Experience as a CAD coordinator in electrical construction, architecture or engineering environment utilizing multiple software platforms
