Bankruptcy Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will work with debtors and creditors for bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapter 11. The attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel to clients navigating complex bankruptcy proceedings and restructuring efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases
- Provide legal advice on bankruptcy law and restructuring processes
- Negotiate with creditors and stakeholders on behalf of clients
- Draft and file bankruptcy petitions, motions, and other necessary legal documents
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases
- Develop strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
- Stay updated on changes in bankruptcy laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Barred in CA
- 2 years of experience in bankruptcy law, particularly Chapter 11 cases
- Strong knowledge of bankruptcy procedures and creditor representation
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
