Job Title: Audit Staff Accountant
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (hybrid flexibility)
Base Salary Range: $65k-$85k (DOE) bonus benefits

We have 75 employees and were named "Best Place to Work" for multiple years including 2023 by the Pittsburgh Business Times. We have clients in various industries including Breweries, Construction, Energy, Healthcare, Investments Funds, Manufacturing, Distribution, Non-Profit, Professional Services, and more. Due to our growth we are looking for a driven Audit Staff Accountant to join our growing team.
The Audit Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the audit team by performing various accounting and auditing tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of public accounting principles, assisting in the preparation and examination of financial statements in compliance with GAAP.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing audit engagements for clients in various industries.
- Perform analytical procedures and substantive testing on financial statements and disclosures.
- Review and assess internal controls and recommend improvements as necessary.
- Prepare working papers and support documentation for audit findings and conclusions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective audit processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP requirements.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience in public accounting and audit functions(2 years).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- CPA certification or progress towards obtaining CPA is a plus.
- Familiarity with audit tools such as IDEA, TValue, and PPC is advantageous.
