Position: Audit Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC
In-Office Requirement: Fully Remote after initial Training (must be in Charlotte area)

Salary: $110,000-$160,000 a year
We are a midsize CPA firm of about 30 employees located in Charlotte, NC. We are a full service firm offering tax, accounting, audit, CFO, and business consulting services. We are a progressive firm that values a healthy work life balance. We can offer capped hours, generous PTO, and summer hours outside of tax season. We are looking for motivated individuals who are looking to grow their career, and possibly look for a firm with a path to partner.
We are looking for an experienced audit manager who is ready to come in and lead engagements from day one. Ideally we are looking for someone who has been heavy in the for-profit space but knows their way around a non-profit audit. We see a lot of real estate, manufacturing, construction, and professional service clients on the audit team.
What you need- 5 Years of Public Accounting Experience
- Active CPA REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- GAAS, and nonprofit reporting standards (FASB, OMB Uniform Guidance) - Major Plus
- Proven ability to manage audit teams, review workpapers, and oversee engagement performance.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with both for-profit and nonprofit clients.
- Skilled in budgeting, scheduling, and meeting engagement deadlines.
- Preparing Financial Statement Audits
- Reviewing Colleagues' Audit paperwork
- Working closely with clients as main point of contact
- Obtaining all necessary information and documents for audit
- Helping uphold company policies and best practices
- Overseeing and mentoring junior accountants
