Established (40 Years) Full Service Regional Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Insurance Defense Litigation in Ridgeland, MS
An established full service Mississippi-based litigation firm with over 40 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation to join their team onsite near Ridgeland, MS. This role involves handling matters such as motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and general personal injury defense, with travel throughout the state for court appearances, depositions, and client meetings.
Offer: Salary range: $85,000-$100,000 , contingent on experience

Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation
Experience with motor vehicle, slip and fall, and other general liability matters
Juris Doctorate (JD) and active Mississippi Bar membership
Ability to travel throughout the state as needed
Commutable to the Ridgeland, MS area
Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters across Mississippi
Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
Prepare and respond to discovery and motions
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
Contribute to case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys
