Position Overview
A strong general contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager who will support the project management team in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, assisting in project planning and execution, and providing administrative support to the project manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects within the commercial and healthcare sectors.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
• Monitor project progress and report on key metrics, including budget adherence and schedule compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including contracts, reports, and meeting minutes.
• Help resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle to minimize disruptions.
• Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in project management or construction roles, preferably in a healthcare, laboratory, or education construction setting.
• Familiarity with general contracting practices and procedures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
