A growing precision controls and automation company is seeking a technically sharp and customer-focused Application Engineer to join their team. This role bridges engineering and client engagement, supporting custom solutions for industrial and commercial control systems.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to design and implement control system solutions
- Develop technical documentation including BOMs, schematics, and wire run diagrams
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to clients
- Customize applications based on customer specifications and site conditions
- Interface with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 1-3 years of experience in controls, automation, or application engineering
- Proficiency in Visio, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD tools
- Familiarity with PLC programming and control systems (e.g., HVAC, building automation)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Compensation $70,000 - $130,000 (based on experience)
