Position Overview
A leading controls and BAS company is seeking a Sales Engineer specializing in Controls and Building Automation Systems (BAS). The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide expert solutions, and drive sales growth in the BAS sector. This role involves a mix of technical acumen and sales expertise to effectively demonstrate the value of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the building automation sector.
• Provide estimating, support, and guidance on controls and building automation systems during the sales process..
• Collaborate with the engineering team to create customized solutions for clients' needs.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.
• Prepare and deliver quotes and proposals to clients, ensuring alignment with their requirements and expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in sales engineering, particularly in the building automation systems industry.
• Strong knowledge of controls and BAS technologies..
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and clients effectively.

Competitive Salary $70,000 - $120,000 (DOE) commission plan once ramped up
