CV Resources is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to support a growing, multi-site healthcare organization. This person will play a key role within the accounting function, performing reconciliations, month-end close support, financial statement analysis and review across a large, multi-entity environment.
This role requires someone who is proactive, curious, and comfortable challenging existing processes in order to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable accountant and self-starter who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete monthly account reconciliations across various facilities and/or entities
- Assist with month-end close by preparing and posting journal entries and accruals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, fixed assets and depreciation entries.
- Assist in the reconciliation of intercompany activities, as applicable, with various subsidiaries to ensure the accuracy of intercompany transactions.
- Prepare, review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
- Assist in documenting accounting processes, policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with company leaders and colleagues to provide an effective and collaborative working environment.
- Assist with year-end financial audit activities and documentation
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects, as requested.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Strong month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger experience
- Experience in a multi-site, multi-entity environment
- Deadline oriented, with close attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Confident working independently and using initiative to guide through challenges
- Highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with intercompany accounting, allocations, and consolidation-related activities
- Advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies, challenge the status quo, and improve processes
- Prior experience in skilled nursing, healthcare services, or another multi-unit environment is preferred
- CPA and/or public accounting experience is a plus
Salary : $95,000 - $120,000
