Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS HRMS Techno‑Functional Business Analyst to support, enhance, and optimize Oracle E‑Business Suite HRMS modules. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, providing functional expertise, system configuration, technical analysis, and ongoing support within a complex enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong hands‑on experience with Oracle EBS HRMS, the ability to analyze and improve business processes, and proven success producing functional and technical documentation. The role also requires working knowledge of Oracle EBS HRMS data integrations and interdependencies with Payables (AP), Purchasing (PO), and Projects (PA), including employee costing, expenses, approvals, and project labor costing flows.
Key Responsibilities
• Consult and advise internal and external customers on troubleshooting user and application issues.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements and functional specifications for cross‑functional initiatives.
• Analyze business processes to identify operational inefficiencies, conflicting practices, and integration issues; recommend alternative solutions to resolve cross‑functional challenges.
• Manage projects in alignment with internal project lifecycle methodologies. Identify risks related to timelines or deliverables and collaborate with the Project Management Organization and business partners to resolve issues.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in business analysis, application design, implementation, and support of IT systems, including multiple enterprise applications such as Oracle HRMS, Financial, and BI systems.
• Experience supporting Oracle EBS versions R12.1 and R12.2.
Functional & Technical Expertise
Oracle EBS & Financial Modules
• Strong techno‑functional knowledge of Oracle EBS HRMS configurations.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Financials modules, including GL, FA, AP, PO, and PA.
• Understanding of interfaces, data conversions, and cross‑module integrations.
Integration & Development Support
• Provide functional guidance for RICEW components.
• Support HRMS integrations with third‑party systems.
• Proficient in Oracle SQL.
• Working knowledge of PL/SQL for analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Oracle Workflow and AME.
• Experience with XML Publisher (BI Publisher) reporting.
Professional & Communication Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools, including Visio, Project, and OneNote.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and recommendations to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
