Location: Clearwater, FL (On-Site)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with flexibility as needed, including occasional evenings or weekends for events)

Position Summary

The VP of Public Relations is responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance the company’s public image, brand visibility, and external relationships. This role drives business growth through strategic communication, industry recognition, and referral-based networking while ensuring alignment across departments. This position also offers opportunities for professional growth aligned with advancement into senior leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

Public Relations & Brand Management

  • Develop and execute public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation
  • Serve as the primary liaison for public relations efforts, ensuring consistent and strategic messaging
  • Coordinate with Marketing to align branding, messaging, and outreach initiatives
  • Ensure company achievements and milestones are effectively promoted to strengthen market presence
  • Provide data to the social media team

Awards & Industry Recognition

  • Identify and submit applications for relevant industry awards
  • Increase company credibility through successful recognition and award achievements

Event Management (Internal & External)

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute company events, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with brand standards
  • Oversee internal and external events to support employee engagement and public visibility
  • Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to ensure seamless event execution

Content & Media Coordination

  • Coordinate video production and media initiatives to support brand positioning
  • Coordinate and oversee content creation that strengthens company visibility and reputation

Business Development

  • Drive referral-based business growth through relationship-building and strategic exposure
  • Expand company reach into new audiences, networks, and communities in coordination with the marketing team
  • Establish and maintain consistent sources of inbound referrals

Qualifications

Experience

  • Experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Proven ability to manage events, campaigns, or public-facing initiatives
  • Experience contributing to business development or referral-based growth is a plus

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across departments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations effectively
  • Highly organized with strong execution and follow-through
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and communication tools
  • Ability to manage high-profile communications with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong professional presence with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Proactive, resourceful, and accountable for outcomes
  • Comfortable working in public-facing environments and representing the company externally
  • Growth-oriented with interest in advancing into senior leadership roles

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Generate an average of 5–8 qualified referral leads per week within 60–90 days
  • Submit a minimum of 2–4 industry award applications per quarter
  • Achieve measurable growth in brand reputation (Google Reviews, Testimonials, Success Stories)
  • Establish 3–5 new referral relationships per month
  • Successfully execute company events with defined attendance, engagement, and outcome targets

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
