Description:

One of Culligan’s fastest growing BUs in North America is looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic team to drive strategic growth and ensure competitive pricing strategies that meet our business targets. As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing pricing strategies across our product lines. You will analyze market trends, provide detailed analysis, and monitor cost inflation to inform pricing decisions that align with our business objectives. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The role will work directly will Senior Leadership of the EDG Business gaining additional development and leadership skills.

 

Specific Job Function:

  • Collaborate with EDG Senior Leadership to Maintain and Grow EBITDA drop through from the Pricing Strategy.
    • Analyze pricing impacts versus targets by category and location on a monthly basis.
    • Ensure the integrity of pricing models by reviewing and cleaning data for accurate monthly reporting.
    • Serve as an advisory role to the Leadership team providing insights on pricing gaps to targets and other opportunities to improve pricing margins.
    • Lead process to develop new contract pricing elements and periodically review those already in place.
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on pricing performance and market insights.
    • Own implementation of pricing changes internally with cross functional teams.
    • Identify and mitigate pricing risks, including potential impacts on revenue from price discounts or volume changes.
    • Develop processes for assessing cost data and updating cost bases in response to market inflation.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing trends and opportunities.
  • Build and Implement the EDG Pricing Governance process.
    • Create and maintain pricing governance policies.
    • Drive and implement a business intelligence solution to effectively capture, monitor and analyze pricing data.
    • Streamline the reporting and updating process for pricing calculations.
    • Work closely with cross functional groups to ensure pricing strategies are effectively implemented and align with overall business goals.
    • Provide training on pricing governance, policies, and tools to ensure compliance and best practices.
    • Maintain thorough documentation of pricing decisions, methodologies and governance processes to ensure transparency and accountability.
    • Participate in or lead cross-functional projects that involve pricing changes.
    • Demonstrate a strong track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
    • Excellent organizational skills, enabling effective prioritization and time management.
    • Communicate complex financial results effectively across all levels of the organization.
    • Build trust and driving alignment across teams and stakeholders.
    • The ability to envision long term opportunities while driving short term results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics
  • 5 years of data-driven pricing strategy, financial modeling and profit maximization
  • Track recording of building and implementing (end to end) strategic and operating lever initiatives.
  • Advanced excel skills, proficiency with visualization tools (Power BI or like tool)
  • Previous experience in Consumer or Franchise based businesses is a plus.
  • Decision making skills along with strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven skill in converting detailed financial analysis into digestible presentations.
  • Experience working with data from ERP and Consolidations Systems
  • Experience in a multi-branch and business unit environment preferred.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Target Salary Range: $90,000 - 110,000 year.  Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.  Full-time positions are eligible for competitive benefits, including: paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, disability benefits and 401(k).
