Responsibilities
- Build and manage pricing for customer opportunities, including multi-leg and consolidated shipments
- Analyze transportation costs (LTL, TL, parcel, USPS) to identify margin improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain Excel-based pricing models and tools
- Create and manage Power BI dashboards for pricing performance and cost visibility
- Interpret carrier rate structures (tariffs, fuel surcharges, accessorials)
- Partner with Sales and Operations to align pricing with service and profitability goals
- Support RFPs, renewals, and strategic pricing initiatives
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation pricing, or analytics
- Advanced Excel skills (modeling, pivots, formulas)
- Experience building Power BI dashboards (DAX, data modeling)
- Strong understanding of transportation pricing fundamentals (LTL/TL, fuel, accessorials)
- Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into business insights
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Candidates without a degree will be strongly considered if they demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel modeling and Power BI development.
- Experience with TMS platforms (Quoting Engines, Internal Systems, SMC3)
- Familiarity with tariff structures (e.g., CzarLite)
- SQL or large dataset experience
- Exposure to mail and general freight consolidation or network-based pricing
