Your Role and Impact:
As the HR & Payroll Manager, you will oversee payroll processing, administer benefits programs, and support HR compliance and operations. You’ll serve as a trusted resource to employees while partnering with leadership to improve processes and maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Oversee payroll systems, reporting, audits, and year-end processes (W-2s, tax filings).
- Administer employee benefits programs, including open enrollment and vendor coordination.
- Serve as the primary contact for payroll and benefits-related employee inquiries.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Support audits and partner with leadership on HR initiatives and process improvements.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5 years of experience in human resources, with a strong focus on payroll and benefits.
- Knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and benefits compliance (FLSA, ACA, ERISA).
- Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday, or similar).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or CPP).
- Experience managing vendors and improving HR/payroll processes.
Work Environment:
- Office-based or hybrid environment.
