Procurement Engineering Manager

As Procurement Engineering Manager, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring critical equipment, components, and services meet the highest quality and regulatory standards required for nuclear operations. Working at the intersection of engineering, quality, procurement, and project delivery, you will help establish the processes and systems that underpin a highly regulated, cutting-edge facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Procurement Engineering function, including hiring, training, and mentoring engineers.
- Oversee receipt inspection activities for safety-related and non-safety-related equipment and materials.
- Ensure compliance with nuclear quality assurance requirements and procurement specifications.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Project Controls teams to develop procurement and inspection strategies.
- Manage non-conformance and discrepancy resolution processes.
- Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions, budgets, and departmental performance metrics.
- Support the successful delivery of major construction and operational milestones.
What We're Looking For
- Degree qualified in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 10 years of experience within the nuclear industry.
- Strong understanding of receipt inspection, quality assurance, supplier quality, and non-conformance management.
- Experience working to ASME NQA-1, ANSI 15.8, or equivalent quality standards.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
