Procurement Engineering Manager
A leading organisation in the advanced energy and medical technology sector is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team supporting a first-of-a-kind infrastructure project in the United States.
This role will oversee procurement engineering activities including commercial grade dedication (CGD), seismic and environmental qualification, and receipt inspection processes for critical project components.
Location & Working Arrangement
This position offers a flexible hybrid or remote working model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a procurement engineering team, including hiring, development, and performance oversight
- Ensure all activities meet rigorous quality standards for dedication, qualification, and inspection
- Oversee development and execution of CGD, seismic, and environmental qualification plans
- Provide technical leadership on receipt inspection and quality processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Controls teams
- Support procurement strategy development early in the project lifecycle
- Manage schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Monitor risks and proactively address potential schedule or delivery issues
- Review and disposition non-conformance reports (OSDD)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience within the nuclear or highly regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of commercial grade dedication (EPRI NP5652)
- Familiarity with ASME NQA-1 requirements
- Experience in equipment qualification and nuclear facility operations
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools
