Role Purpose:
The Senior FP&A and BI Analyst serves as a strategic partner across Finance, Operations, Sales, and Executive Leadership by combining advanced financial planning with business intelligence capabilities. The role is responsible for driving accurate forecasts, budgets, and financial models while also designing and maintaining BI dashboards that turn complex financial and operational data into actionable insights. By integrating data analysis with strategic planning, the role ensures leadership has the clarity needed to make informed decisions on growth, investments, and operational efficiency.
Position Summary:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital investments, and scenario analysis.
- Provide variance analysis and insights into revenue, expenses, and profitability trends.
- Partner with business leaders to deliver financial recommendations that align with corporate goals.
- Support board and executive-level presentations with high-quality analysis and visualizations.
Business Intelligence (BI)
- Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify KPIs and establish consistent reporting standards.
- Manage data integrity and ensure accuracy of financial and operational reporting across systems.
- Leverage BI tools (e.g., Power BI, or similar) to automate reporting processes and improve efficiency.
- Translate complex data into business insights that drive strategic and operational decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a strategic partner to Finance, Operations, Sales, and Executive Leadership.
- Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as required (e.g., M&A, market entry, pricing strategy).
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts.
Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business intelligence, preferably in a senior or lead analyst role.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Hands-on experience with BI platforms (Power BI, etc.) and financial systems.
- Advanced Excel and data modeling skills.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence decision-making at senior leadership levels.

Salary : $105,000 - $165,000
