As we continue to grow, we are looking for dedicated professionals to join our team and help us deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions. You will play a vital role in supporting our mission and ensuring operational excellence. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Brief Summary of Duties
- Safely handle and disassemble a wide range of IT equipment, such as computers, monitors, servers, printers, and networking devices.
- Sort and categorize components for resale, refurbishment, recycling, or disposal.
- Remove and properly dispose of hazardous materials, including batteries and CRT monitors, per environmental regulations.
- Using battery operated power drill, non -battery operated tools, including a heating plate to hand disassemble end of life electronic assets.
- Unload and transport IT equipment using pallet jack.
- Find and segregate materials off fast moving conveyor lines.
- Adhering to all safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for everyone in the facility.
- Daily housekeeping and cleaning of department and workstation.
- Other duties as assigned by department.
Experience and/or Education Requirements
- Prior experience or ability to learn to safely use power tools and pallet jack.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the day in a standing position.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
- Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Experience and/or Education Preferred
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of electronic devices and components.
- Prior experience in warehouse or electronic equipment dismantling, IT asset disposition, or related fields.
- Familiarity with IT equipment, data destruction techniques, and recycling protocols is a plus
