What to expect in this role on a given day:
The role of the Collections Manager will include managing the daily collection process for business to business transactions, reviewing and analyzing reports, and researching and responding to escalated customer inquiries and disputes. Daily responsibilities include:
- Manage day to day collection activities
- Supervise a department of 4 collectors
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance to the team
- Review delinquent accounts to determine appropriate action
- Analyze and resolve escalated customer inquiries and disputes in a professional manner
- Prepare and analyze reports for distribution to upper management and various other entities
You will be a good fit for this position if you have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in corporate collections or accounts receivable
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
