General Summary: Performs a variety of liquid painting duties including, but not limited to applying liquid paint, operating a painting robot, sanding, and prepping materials safely and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
What is the Job?

Performs Class A surface paint application per customer specifications, including proper mixing of paints and solvents, surface prep, inspection, and quality documents

Operates and maintains painting equipment and systems (ex. paint guns, robots, pumps, booths), including light and preventative maintenance.

Inspects products for defects, identifies and labels non-conforming parts, following Quality Management System requirements, and escalates issues to the appropriate Lead.

Maintains a clean, safe, and efficient work area; uses materials efficiently, monitors inventory levels, and wears required PPE at all times.

Reads and follows work instructions, establishes efficient workflows, accurately records paint usage and production data, and performs other duties as assigned.
What you bring:
- Knowledge of liquid painting processes normally acquired through six (6) months experience in a similar position strongly desired.

Ability to read, count, match, and perform simple math equations is required.

Previous experience or familiarity with ISO systems helpful.

Must have good attention to detail in order to visually identify minute imperfections or defects.

Ability to work in a team or independently.

Ability to work on a fast-paced, constantly forward moving production line.
