Maintenance Technician

Crown Staffing is now hiring full-time Maintenance Technicians (2 Openings) in Sioux Falls, SD!3rd Shift | Tuesday–Saturday | 5:00pm–3:00am | $20.00–$30.00/hr (Based on Experience)

Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Support safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems to meet business goals.
• Handle facility maintenance issues with accuracy and efficiency.
• Use proper tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery and mechanical components as needed.
• Operate pallet jacks and/or forklifts (certification required).
• Follow machine-specific lockout/tagout procedures to ensure safe equipment servicing.
• Apply strong math skills when performing repairs and calculations.
• Maintain general knowledge of Hazmat policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical degree, or 2–5 years of related maintenance experience; equivalent combinations considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, documents, and product labels.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must be certified in forklift and/or pallet jack operation.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including the ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Strong reasoning abilities and problem-solving skills.
