Crown Staffing is currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to fill openings with Western State in Hopkinsville, KY.

Pay Rate: $44.00 – $46.00/hour

Job Type: Full-Time | Day Shift | Every Other Weekend Required

Position Overview:

Crown Staffing is currently hiring experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time positions at Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville, KY. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic psychiatric healthcare environment, supporting patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.

Schedule:

• Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12-hour day shift)
• Type: Full-Time
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adult psychiatric patients in accordance with the nursing process
• Collaborate with physicians, licensed staff, and other healthcare professionals to implement and monitor individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions, document findings, and report changes to supervising staff
• Respond to emergencies and provide CPR/AED care as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Ensure patient safety and uphold high standards of care in all assigned units

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Kentucky or compact multistate license
• CPR and AED certification
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Must provide a nursing school diploma and/or transcript
• Comfortable working in a psychiatric care environment
• Must pass a clean background check

Professional Standards:

• Professional appearance is required:
• Fingernails must not exceed 1/4 inch
• Minimal jewelry permitted; facial piercings must be removed during shifts
• OSHA-compliant training provided on site
