Registered Nurse – Operating Room (RN OR)

Pay: $40.00/hour
Travel Assignment | 13 Weeks
Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend availability required
RN Operating Room Requirements
- Current RN license required
- Operating Room / perioperative RN experience required
- Minimum of 1–2 years of recent RN experience required
- Previous surgical or OR nursing experience strongly preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a healthcare setting
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative process
- Prepare patients, equipment, and surgical rooms for procedures
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
- Monitor patient condition and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Ensure proper handling of surgical instruments, supplies, and sterile techniques
- Support patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards
- Communicate effectively with physicians, surgical staff, and patients
- Follow all facility policies, healthcare regulations, and patient care protocols
- Assist with post-procedure recovery support as needed
