Laser Operator Job Details
Mon-Thurs 5am-3:30pm, Tues-Fri 5am-3:30pm | 25-30/hr (DOE)
Laser Operator Requirements
- Previous experience operating laser (CO2/fiber) or turret machines preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail and work ethic
About the Laser Operator Role
As a Laser Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Set up and operate CO2 and fiber optic lasers and turret machines
- Load materials and adjust machines settings based on job specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and tolerances
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and meet daily production goals
