Your role is to facilitate life skills workshops that capture the attention of a K-8 student audience, lead motivational sessions that drive them toward their weekly learning targets, and maintain standards when a student tries to take the easy path. The academic side runs itself. You manage the human dimension.

What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops with K-8 students on topics including public speaking, focus, and giving and receiving feedback
• Administering Test2Pass mastery assessments following each workshop to verify students have genuinely acquired the skill, not merely attended the session
• Leading daily motivation sessions using student profiles, interests, and Coachbot analytics to ensure 100% of your cohort achieves their weekly app progression goals
• Leveraging storytelling, incentives (school currency, leaderboards), and personal relationships to overcome student resistance
• Monitoring cohort satisfaction scores to maintain a 90% target on student surveys
  
  

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Lecturing at the front of a classroom. Students progress academically through self-paced AI-powered apps, not through direct instruction from you.
• Supervising without engagement. Kids working on computers is the environment; active involvement is the expectation.
• Compromising standards when students resist. Test2Pass expectations remain constant, regardless of a student's difficult week.
• Creating curriculum from the ground up. Lesson plans and workshop frameworks are supplied; your responsibility is to execute them with the presence and storytelling ability that ensures students genuinely internalize the content.
• Handling parent relations, admissions processes, or campus operations oversight. Those responsibilities belong to different roles.
  
  

Youth Program Coordinator Key Responsibilities

Guide a cohort of K-8 students to achieve 100% of their weekly academic targets while facilitating life skills workshops that maintain 90% satisfaction scores.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any subject
• Minimum 3 years of direct experience working with K-8 (elementary and middle school) students
• Strong storytelling and facilitation presence — capable of maintaining the engagement of a room full of children for an hour
• Willingness to work on-site at the Alpha campus in Brownsville, TX
• Legal authorization to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship

• Experience as an athletic coach, camp counselor, or youth program facilitator

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
