What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Coordinator, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $100,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Take an empty building. Make it a fully functioning school. Hand it off. Repeat in another city. Every campus opens on schedule, fully operational, and then moves to the operations team while you begin the next one. This is high-velocity delivery work. If that rhythm fits how you want to operate, continue reading.
2 Hour Learning operates schools where students complete their core academics in two hours daily, dedicating the remainder of their time to life skills, entrepreneurship, and activities traditional schooling rarely accommodates. The approach delivers measurable outcomes: students ranking in the top 1-2% nationally and advancing at double the standard learning rate. None of this functions without campus readiness. Your responsibility: deliver fully operational school facilities on time and within budget across an expanding network of micro schools, growth campuses, and flagship vertical campuses in major metropolitan areas.
Timelines remain consistently tight. Transform a building handoff into an opening-day-ready campus within weeks, not months. This requires daily dependency tracking, vendor work sequencing, and AI-driven oversight of every outstanding item before it causes schedule slippage. After campus launch, you transfer site ownership to the ongoing operations team and shift to the next buildout.
Begin with micro-campus projects — the portfolio's fastest-moving, most standardized work. As the network grows to incorporate growth and flagship locations, the scope and complexity of your assignments expand accordingly.
When a campus opens on schedule and students arrive on Day 1, your contribution remains invisible. That defines success in this role. Apply today via our assessment process: a cognitive evaluation and a practical work sample.

What You Will Be Doing
- Overseeing complete buildout execution for each assigned campus: coordinating procurement and installation of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), interior improvements, IT infrastructure, signage, and play areas from building handoff to opening day
- Executing compressed project timelines against fixed opening dates: sequencing vendor workflows, tracking project dependencies, and accelerating delivery wherever schedules demand
- Managing and accepting vendor deliverables: issuing scopes of work, supervising on-site execution, inspecting for specification compliance, and formally rejecting substandard work
- Leveraging AI tools to produce vendor scopes, create punch lists, monitor open items, and compile handoff documentation — the pace of this role requires these methods
- Implementing standardized site deployment procedures, confirming readiness upon completion, recording structured feedback, and organizing handoff to the ongoing operations team
- Overseeing steady-state facility operations post-launch: after opening, you transfer to the permanent operations team and begin the next buildout
- Executing hands-on installation or trade work: your function is to direct, inspect, and approve — not perform physical labor or technical installation
- Handling real estate acquisition, permitting, or certificate of occupancy processes: these are completed before the building transfers to you
- Operating on a single project at a leisurely pace: micro-campus buildouts progress rapidly, with another project always queued
- Navigating unclear ownership or diffused accountability: each buildout assigns one person complete responsibility from handoff through opening day
Deliver fully operational campuses on schedule and within budget, from building handoff to opening day.
Basic Requirements
- Minimum 2 years in operations, facilities, or project delivery

- Proven ownership of a multi-phase project from initiation through documented completion
- Established vendor management capability: enforce quality standards with contractors and challenge substandard performance
- Demonstrated ability to run 2 or more concurrent projects or sites while maintaining complete oversight
- Consistent use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or equivalent) to accelerate work and maintain organization
- US-based and authorized to work without visa sponsorship
- Willing to travel 60–80% of the time (3–4 days per week)
- Prior involvement in a physical buildout or site activation across any sector: retail, food service, healthcare, commercial offices, or comparable environments
- Experience in construction project management, tenant improvement, commercial fit-out, or facilities management
- Any direct exposure to FF&E, IT deployment, signage, or commercial interior projects, even in a support or coordination capacity
- Familiarity with a project tracking platform (Wrike, Notion, Procore, Asana, Monday.com, or equivalent) for task or timeline management
